I had a very good experience here. Clean, for a Dr’s office quick, less than one hour and a half. I like that I could go in after work. I would recommend this to anyone.

I went to 8-2-8 Urgent Care after having an upper respiratory infection for about four days. At that point, I was so over not being able to breathe through my nose and no over-the-counter medicine I had taken seemed to work. I was pleasantly surprised at how efficient the staff and patient intake process were. I was able to be seen within 15 minutes. I then got the prescription that I needed and was on my way, all in under 30 minutes. Kudos to the team at 8-2-8 Urgent Care! I will definitely be visiting again should any other illnesses arise.
Very friendly staff that made me feel welcomed. I had sprained my ankle while playing basketball and thought I could manage to take care of it without going to the hospital. However I quickly realized I could not manage and knew I needed medical attention. I had heard of this urgent care from a friend and decided to head on in since I didn’t know of any other urgent care in the area. I was warmly greeted and told they were busy but would be seen soon. There were a lot of people and thought (soon) could not be correct. I was wrong and was seen by the doctor in a timely manner and treated better than I would have been at the emergency room. I was expecting a wait but had a manageable wait time and I expected emergency type care but received much more. I would really need to be in a dire state to go to the emergency room and will drive from near and far to get the care that I received here. Great service with even greater people! Thank you for your care!
I had surgery to remove squamous cell tumor from my ankle. I went to a local dermatologist (who should turn in their medical license) but anyways, that is beside the point. The open wound on my ankle became infected. I stumbled on this place because my daughter and her father went there when my daughter had the flu. She was going back because all of sudden her throat was starting to hurt. I wanted to someone to look at the wound and I was not going back to the dermatologist. From the minute we walked in, the staff was kind and professional. The doctor there was wonderful. He was English. He was thoughtful and even though he had to debride the wound, he numbed it up so the pain was not as bad as it could have been. He called me that night and a few days later just to check to see how I was doing and referred me to a wound clinic. I would go back there in a heartbeat!
Amazing and warm friendly staff. Super clean office. The doctor was very detailed and informative. If you have insurance, dont waste your time at the ER or other clinics with 2 hour waits…..come to 8-2-8 Urgent Care. …in and out in less than one hour.
I had a great experience at 8-2-8 Urgent Care. I was visiting a friend in Cali and she took me to a wonderful restaurant for dinner, everything was amazing until I had an allergic reaction to the food. Although I am completely aware of my food allergies, and asked the waitress about the cooking methods, I ate a “safe” meal anyway. She took me to 8-2-8 Urgent Care and they took me back immediately and began treating me for my allergic reaction. My mouth was swollen badly and my face was moderately puffy the doctor was sure to keep me there until the swelling and puffiness was completely under control and made sure I got an epi pen for the future. I would go back but hopefully I won’t have any more emergencies.
I have to say 8-2-8 Urgent Care was a lifesaver for me this week. After my one year old awoke with a 100 degree fever, I dreaded the idea of a typical 4 hour wait in a E.R. where he was sure to be exposed to more threats. When a friend mentioned 8-2-8 Urgent Care to me I was hesitant but hopeful, it had to be better than the alternative. The clinic was very clean, the staff very accommodating and professional, and the service was fast. We were in and out in under 1 hour. I will be returning for myself, my husband and my son.
If you live off of College BLVD like me, 8-2-8 Urgent Care is as far as you should ever go for basic medical needs (and some non-basic); not only close to you, it’s also very close to two pharmacies. I’ve visited and left happier than I came for both physical and mental ailments. While nothing fancy, the office appears to either be maintained well or new. Walk-In patients are allowed. So, some days are busier than others. That said, the staff has always handled such days in an efficient manner, from what I’ve observed. Like Shawn, I found them to be a very personable group which helped put any anxiety I had to ease.
When I went here just last week, all the staff I met was very friendly and caring. I didn’t wait long at all for anything. They were upfront about costs and didn’t try to sneak anything past me. In fact, the doctor knew I didn’t have insurance so he found ways to save me money. He was very helpful and gave good advice about my issue. I was even given a goodie bag when I left and there was coffee available and a tv to watch. To top it all off, they even called me a few days later to check on me.
We were on vacation from Oklahoma when my husband got sick. The clinic was very clean, the staff very accommodating and professional, and the service very fast. We were in and out in under 1 hour.
I’m glad I chose this clinic. The doctors and staff are very hospitable. Not looking to get sick soon, but if I do, I’ll go straight to 8-2-8 Urgent Care.
